How Do I Add/Remove Topics On My Profile?

At Klout, our system automatically generates topics for you based on your content that receives the most engagement. If there’s a topic that you’d like to add to your profile, you can now do so.
 
Simply go to the Topics tab on your profile. Click “Add a Topic,” search for the right term, and confirm.
 
You are able to receive +Ks from other users for your newly added topics.  The maximum amount of topics users can have on their profile is 20. Adding a topic will cost 5 +Ks out of your daily wallet in the bottom left-hand corner. You can also give another a user a topic for 5 +Ks.
 
If you would like to remove a topic, you can do so by going to your Topics page and clicking the small grey "x" next to it. Other users will not be able to add this topic to your profile. If you'd like to re-add it to your profile in the future, please email us at contact@klout.com and we'll be happy to manually add it back for you.  Just make sure you include which topic you are referring to in your email.  If you are having trouble removing a topic from your profile, also send us an email and include which topic you are having trouble removing.
 
Note that the topics you can add will be limited by our dictionary. We’re constantly working to improve our analysis and expand our topics dictionary.
