On 5/28/2012, it was brought to our attention that one of our users was able to access another user's account from their mobile device. Our team quickly analyzed and resolved the issue. This was a temporary and isolated error in our user session storage engine that affected no other users and at no time was third-party authentication information compromised. We have contacted the affected users to inform them of the outcome.
Respect for user privacy and the security of your personal information is central to everything we do at Klout. To prevent any future incidents, we have increased the cryptographic strength of users sessions.
